How to use Flexcil AI

What is Flexcil AI?

Flexcil AI is a feature that seamlessly integrates familiar AI directly within Flexcil, allowing you to utilize it without disrupting your document reading and note-taking workflow.

You can summarize and ask questions while interacting directly with your documents without switching apps, enabling more natural and efficient learning.

Is Flexcil AI free?

Flexcil AI features can be used without any additional charges.
However, usage fees for connected AI services may vary depending on each service's policy.

Flexcil AI is not visible on the screen.

Flexcil AI is only available in certain versions or higher.
Please update to the version below or higher.

How do I use Flexcil AI?

Launch Flexcil AI

• Simply open a document and click the AI button in the top-right corner to start using it.

• If this is your first time using it, please review the simple guide first.

Attach to AI

• You can use gestures to send text, images, or pages to AI for summarization or to ask questions.

• When uploading a page to AI, you can choose whether to include handwritten notes.
  • (Left) ON: The PDF will be uploaded with the handwritten notes included.
  • (Right) OFF: The original PDF will be uploaded without the handwritten notes.

• You can also send handwritten notes to the AI using the lasso tool.
• After selecting the handwritten text with the lasso, press and hold to highlight it, then drag and drop it into the AI input field to attach the handwritten text as an image.

• If your AI results aren't transferring to Flexcil, or if you only want to import a portion of them as images, you can use a screen capture to resolve this.
• Adjust the capture area and drag it into your Flexcil document.

Can I download files from AI?

You can download all files from AI.
(However, downloads are only possible if permissions are granted by each service and your default browser.)

If the downloaded file is a PDF or image, you can apply it directly to Flexcil.

• Share: You can send the downloaded PDF using your device’s share function!
• Save as a Flexcil document: You can use the downloaded PDF immediately in your file manager!

Download Image

• Save to Gallery: Save the downloaded image to your device's gallery!
• Save as Sticker: Save the downloaded image as a sticker so you can use it in Flexcil!
  
  1. While using AI, select “Save as Sticker” from the options that appear when you download an image.
  2. Select or create a folder to save the sticker.
  3. Try using the saved sticker directly in your document.

* If you open the “Share” window in ChatGPT, you'll see a screen similar to the sample; this feature can be applied in various ways depending on the AI service.

Do I have to log in to use AI?

You can run AI without logging in.
However, depending on the policy of the AI service you use, some features may only be available after logging in.

*You need to be logged in to upload attachments.

Is there no way to disable Flexcil AI?

Currently, there is no separate option to disable the AI feature.
However, the AI feature only runs when needed and does not affect your use of existing documents even if you choose not to use it.

Are my documents automatically shared with AI?

If you do not run the AI feature, your document content will not be transmitted externally.
Even when using AI, only the content you manually select is sent to the AI service; your entire document is not automatically shared or utilized.

Could the AI's response be different?

Yes, AI responses may vary depending on the input content and the way the question is phrased.
Flexcil AI is a feature that helps you conveniently use external AI services; the response content itself is provided according to the specific AI's methodology.

Do the available features differ for each AI model?

The features supported may vary by AI service.
Flexcil allows you to use features together within the scope provided by each AI.

Is it not available on mobile?

Flexcil AI is currently available on tablets and is not supported on mobile devices.
We will provide updates regarding mobile support in future releases.

Can't I use other AI services?

Flexcil AI currently supports four AI models as a priority.
Additional support may be expanded sequentially based on user demand and service policy review.
