Pen toolbar

You can add pens or highlighters, enable pen, highlighter, eraser, shape tool, insert text or images, etc. from the pen toolbar.

What you can do with a Pen Toolbar

① Pen/Gesture mode icon

By pressing the icon, you can change between the Pen Mode and the Gesture Mode .

② Pen settings

You can open the settings by pressing the pen icon while the pen or highlighter is enabled.

On the pen settings, you can set the pen type(Android only), pen thickness, dotted lines, and color of the pen or highlighter. You can also delete the registered pen by pressing the Delete button at the bottom.

On the iOS app, you can disconnect Apple Pencil by pressing the Disconnect Apple Pencil button.

Apple Pencil disconnection only works on the app.

③ Highlighter Settings

Flexcil supports round and square highlighter options.

To see the highlighter settings, press the highlighter while the highlighter is enabled.

From the pen settings, you can set the thickness, opacity, and colors. You can also set the straight lines and delete the highlighter from the pen toolbar as well.

On the iOS app, you can disconnect Apple Pencil by pressing the Disconnect Apple Pencil button.

Apple Pencil disconnection only works on the app.

④ Add a new pen icon

You can add a new pen or a highlighter to the pen toolbar by pressing the icon on the pen toolbar. 

The pen or the highlighter will be added to the pen toolbar if you press + Add button at the bottom once you decide on the pen settings.

⑤ Eraser settings

You can open the eraser settings if you press the eraser icon while the eraser is selected.

You can set the eraser thickness, and set the filter by selectively deleting the pen or highlighter.

If you enable the Auto-Deselect option, the tool that you use previously to eraser will be automatically selected after using an eraser.

⑥ Shape correction tool

The shape correction tool lets you draw circles, squares, and triangles neatly.

If you enable the Auto-deselect Shape Tool option on the viewer settings, the tool that you used previously to Auto-deselect Shape Tool will be automatically selected after using the tool.

⑦ Textbox bool

You can add a new textbox if you press the place where you want to put the textbox while the tool is enabled.

⑧ Image tool

You can add a new image to the document or the note using this tool.

On the iOS app, you can select if you input the image from the Photos app or add a new image by taking a photo.

On the Android app, you can choose between bringing the image from the Gallery or Files or adding a new image by taking a photo.

⑨ Lasso tool settings

You can set various options from the lasso tool settings.

You can choose between the square and the free lasso tool(iOS only)

You can set filters so that you can select a certain type of object(s) using the lasso tool.

If you enable the Auto-Deselect option, the tool that you previously used will be automatically selected after using the lasso tool. 

You can also disconnect Apple Pencil if you press the Disconnect Apple Pencil button(iOS only)

⑩ Rotate Pen Toolbar

You can put the pen toolbar vertically or horizontally by pressing the icon. 

⑪ Laser pointer settings

You can set the color of the laser pointer from the laser pointer settings.

On the iOS app, you can choose the type of the laser pointer between line and dot.
